Issue/Introduction

Using DX Application Performance Management SaaS and monitoring Single Sign-On, the below metrics are missing from investigator:

Web Agent missing metrics:

  • Web Agent Status
  • Aggregated Caching Metrics: 
    • Accesses Per Interval
    • Cache Hit Percentage
  • Aggregated Operation Metrics:
    • Errors Per Interval
    • Failures Per Interval

Policy Server missing metrics:

  • Status, not in documentation but wondering if there is an SSO PS status metric like for SSO Web Agent?
  • Aggregated Caching Metrics: 
    • Accesses Per Interval
    • Cache Hit Percentage
  • Aggregated Database Metrics: 
    • Average Response Time (ms)
    • Errors Per Interval
    • Responses Per Interval
  • Aggregated Health Metrics:
    • Percentage Length in Use / Percentage in Use
  • Aggregated Operation Metrics:
    • Errors Per Interval
    • Average Response Time (ms)
    • Responses Per Interval

 

Cause

This is caused due to the missing jar "SMM_EMExt.jar".

Environment

DX Application Performance Management SaaS
Single Sign-On 13.2

Resolution

From DX Application Performance Management SaaS release, these metrics were removed due to the removal of the "SMM_EMExt.jar" from SaaS environment.
We will adjust the official documentation in order to remove this information.
