OPS0171S DIV ACCESS OF SYSCHK1 DATASET FAILED, RC=X'08', REASON 
CODE=X'0802'

Resolution

The most common reason for this specific error return codes is that the size of the SYSCHK1 dataset is too small for the value of the parameter GLOBALMAX.

Another reason is environmental. SMS subsystem has to be the first entry in the IEFSSNxx parmlib member.
