Directory /tmp/ribcache consuming multiple gigabytes on DX Netops Performance Center

The fix for this issue is currently targeted for DX Netops Performance Management 3.7.15/20.2.2
Note that this is subject to change and there are no release dates that can be provided at this time.
Workaround to clear up space:
To clear out this directory do the following. It will recreate the directory and repopulate as CA Performance Center contacts the various data sources.
Note that until this is complete, you may see errors on views regarding invalid ribcache syntax, these will go away as the cache is repopulated.
a) Stop the CAPC services as noted here:

You do not need to stop mysql
b) Rename the ribcache directory:
cd /tmp
mv ribcache ribcache.old
or move to a location with sufficient space.
c) Start the CAPC services as noted here:

d) Once the cache has repopulated you can remove the renamed/moved ribcache directory,
