Issue/Introduction

Setting up a new Introscope environment and installing 10.7 SP3.  Everything is installed. Trying to get the Command Center running.  It starts up just fine, and seems like it's running, but when running a status check on it, it says "not installed" and I don't fully understand why that is.  This is what it says:

[wily]$ /opt/wily/APMCommandCenterServer/apmccsrv.sh status
CA APM Command Center Configuration Server (not installed) is running: PID:32373, Wrapper:STARTED, Java:STARTED

So again, this is a new install,  It says ACCS is not installed.   So I guess I don't understand why it thinks its not installed when it even says its running?  What am I missing?

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Resolution

It just means it is not installed as system service (using sysv, upstart or systemd).

So it does not indicate anything wrong in relation to ACC, just that it will not be started on system startup.

Add as system service and the message should go away.
