Storing GSO RESWORD to be used for multiple LPARs

Issue/Introduction

A site is using separate RESWORD record setup for every LPAR in PROD, DEV and TEST.

Will masking work on the RESWORD record? Is it possible to set just one RESWORD record with SYSID(****) to be used across all LPARs instead of using separately with SYSID(LPAR)?

Resolution

Yes, a site can create a GSO RESWORD record under SYSID(****) to be used by PROD, DEV and TEST LPARs in place of the GSO RESWORD records for each LPAR's SYSID.
