Issue/Introduction

We are getting below error while running sap job.

com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: 103 JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect repeat logon remote system is [<r3name> | <sap host> | <##>]

Resolution

As per the SAP Plugin's doc page for SAP User IDs and Passwords:

You must specify an "owner" when defining an SAP job. The job will run in SAP as this user. 

• This is not an AE user. It is an SAP user ID.
• If you defined the default SAP user ID in the destname.properties file while configuring the SAP plugin and the "owner" points to the same user then you do not need to define the default SAP user in autosys_secure.
• If the job should run as a different user then the SAP User ID must be defined in autosys_secure.
