Issue/Introduction

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Run a process from an action menu. (ex - in a Project Summary)
  2. The process fails with a generic error or you will observe that the process runs and completes but does not seem to perform its tasks
  3. The logs reveal that the “process code” of the process to be executed could not be retrieved from the query.

ERROR 2020-07-12 00:21:28,333 [Dispatch Data Extractor (tenant=clarity)]  Error executing job: 5XXXX

java.lang.Exception: Could not execute the process (null)

Caused by: com.niku.bpm.BpmException: getLatestProcessVersion - Cannot get latest process version. Did not get exactly one row back

dbResults size: 1

  DBResultSet: 0 No of rows: 0

Cause

This is reported as DE56605

Resolution

This issue is resolved in 15.8.1.2 (patch 2) and 15.9.

Run the process by selecting 'Execute a Process' from under Reports & Jobs
