Issue/Introduction

TRAC024C indicates  the eventname was denied AUTO-SCHD submission for the reason indicated.   Common causes can be due to a trigger event (T in column 70) or a queued release event (scheduled with a Q dependency)  lacking  a schedule event with the proper dependencies, or else external submissions receive a JCL error.

Environment

Release : 11.0

Component : JOBTRAC

Resolution

TRAC024C indicates the eventname was denied AUTO-SCHD submission for the reason indicated. A trigger event (T in column 70) or a queued release event (scheduled with a Q dependency) must have a schedule event with the proper dependencies, or else external submissions receive a JCL error.   When a job has Q in the job card the job has to be loaded previously with the Q dependency and appear on the checkpoint.  If it is not present TRAC024C will result.   Manually add the job or reload SCL that adds the job.
