Issue/Introduction

Following error appears in TRC_CF_REGISTER_0.log :
 
cfRegister|cfRegister|000000|ERROR  | ITRMAgent::getServerList: Failed to delete the offline agent param section
 
What does this error means?

Environment

CA Client Automation - All supported versions.

 

Resolution

This error appears when cfregister tries to delete following section in comstore:

itrm/agent/solutions/offline_agent

If this section does not exist, then the above error is written in TRC_CF_REGISTER*.log

This section is created when ENC Agent is enabled and if ENC Agent connection mode is set to Polling

If ENC is not used, the section does not exist and the error is displayed in the logs but it can be ignored.

This does not indicate a problem with ITCM Agent.
