Unable to register the Admin UI

Issue/Introduction

We have freshly installed the Administrative UI for the 12.8.x PS.

Installation  completed without any errors.

on registering the Admin UI to the PS using below command getting error.

 XPSRegClient siteminder -adminui-setup

(FATAL) : [sm-xpsxps-04670] Invalid administrator credentials.

Note: there is no smreg file present in the $siteminderhome/bin folder.

Release : 12.8.x Policy Server

Component : SMPLC

Resolution

Customer had not imported the key objects hence we were getting the error.

After customer imported the key objects it worked as expected and they were able to register.
