Headless install is not recommended for AAI versions 5.X and not supported for AAI 6.X. The reason behind that is that the Automic Automation Intelligence upgrader and many other tools that require a graphical environment (X-server).
Automic Automation Intelligence Tools/Processes that require an X-Server:
For installations on Unix environments, make sure that an X11 Server is installed on the host machine. The AAI upgrader requires a graphical environment. An X Client can be exported to a remote machine (PC or workstation) by setting the DISPLAY environment variable on the host.
