Issue/Introduction

There are several versions of the physical hardware form factor CA API Gateway Appliance: 

X3-2

X5-2

X7-2

A question may arise as to which versions of the CA API Gateway Hardware form factor are supported for Gateway version 10 re-imaging.

Resolution

The documented re image procedure @ https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/layer7-api-management/api-gateway/10-0/install-configure-upgrade/upgrade-the-gateway/reimagehardware-appliance.html is only compatible with the X5-2 and X7-2 versions of the hardware appliance. The X3-2 is not supported.
