unable to ssh gateway 10 EC2 instance and deploy image in right AWS region

Issue/Introduction

I am trying to SSH an EC2 (AWS) instance.

I run it from the image gateway-10.0.00-10442-ami-centos7-x86_64 - ami-014505d1f95d40f97

I have to copy this AMI to my region zone because it not present there.

So the issue is that once the gateway start I try to SSH to it, but looks like the ports are still closed.

I have checked all the Security groups making sure that the port is enabled for the network I am working on.

I have also have test with a simple centos box with the same Security Groups and same SSH keys, and this work perfectly.

According  to https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article?articleId=188581 I used the supported instance type ,

None of them work, can you please assist us, in the documentation there is no recommendation for the instance to use

Resolution

Use the right instance mentioned in the KD doc , if the image is not available in your region , open a support case to have the image made available in your region .
