Issue/Introduction

Many thousands of instance Favorite rights are available in Clarity UI.

Example: Favorite menu link items Favorites Menu 5000000.union.favLeftNav

Note: Same happens if you add individual Instance rights to a Resource - Portlet View

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Connect to Classic Clarity - Administration - Groups 
2. Create a new Group, go to Group Access Rights - Instance Rights 
3. Add - Object Portlet - Portlet - View 
4. Add and Continue 
5. In the List presented in Step 3, filter on "Favorite"  

Expected Results: The Favorite Menu portlet instance rights should NOT be available to be added to other users as instance right. 

Actual Results: All the Favorite Menu access rights are available in the list, including those for inactive users, the list may be tens of thousands just due to this.

Resolution

This DE56560, fixed in Release 16.0.0 

• After the fix, when attempting to add Portlet instance rights, the Favorites Menu no longer appear as an available option.
