U02000099 Transfer key could not be loaded

Issue/Introduction

On a newly installed Automic Agent, Automic Admin is getting the following error:

U02000099 Transfer key could not be loaded. Please check, if the KeyStore exists and the agent is authenticated. 

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Cause

Primary reasons why a transfer key may become corrupt and needs to be renewed are:

1. Server has changed - name, etc
2. IP address has changed
3. Install not done from installation files (IE: copied install directory from one server to another)

 

Resolution

To resolve this error, please perform the following steps:

1. Login on Client 0
2. Open Administration perspective > Agents
3. Right-click the agent and select "Renew Transfer Key"
4. Restart or start the agent
