I have a TERSEd ACB library that I'm trying to restore. TERSE fails after message
PDSMDIRA-1 CONTROL INFORMATION CANNOT BE RECORDED FOR ACB LIBRARY MEMBER
I tried adding FCOPYOFF, but this had no effect. How do I prevent PDSMAN from interfering?
Got the same issue when shipping the PDS using Connect Direct.
Release : 7.7
Component : CA-PDSMAN for OS/390
ACB libraries have a directory entry format which precludes the recording
of PDSMAN member control information. Remove any $UPDATE CONTROL=Y or
$ACCESS REF=Y control statements specified for this library. This library
cannot be processed by PDSM02 or the PDSMAN backup system. Membername
indicates the member for which control information could not be recorded.
Here is what is recommended by the PDSM message in the message guide.
