The attribute "cfwConnectionStatValue" is not available to create a watch in any Cisco device model

Issue/Introduction

When trying to create a watch, you select a Cisco device, then go to information tab -> Thresholds and watches -> watches.

You will click on create watch button, and then, click on "attributes" button:



The "attributes selector" window will be opened:



However, when you search for the "cfwConnectionStatValue" attribute, nothing is found:

Cause

The "cfwConnectionStatValue" attribute is not available in the device model scope.

Release : 10.x

Resolution

The scope of this attribute is limited to the application model. So, you must run a locater search for the "CiscoFirewallApp" application model for the related device, and create the watch there:



Now you will be able to see the attribute listed and available to create your watch expression (below is just an example):
