Issue/Introduction

How do I save the parameters I entered on the CHISTORY panel? For example: I entered the CHISTORY panel and beside the CREVIEW command I entered an INTERVAL 1 parameter. I saved the profile by PROF SAVE command and exit sysview. When I entered again to the CHISTORY panel I saw that the INTERVAL 1 parameter didn't save.

Resolution

Enter MENU CHISTORY  

From the returned display enter 

OPTIONS

It will show you:

SYSVIEW 16.0 XXXX ---------- CICS Historical Menu -
Option ====>                                       
GSVX739I MENU options: NOSAVEPARMS NORETURNMENU ---

 

You can set the option from the MENU 

OPTIONS SAVEPARMS

 

Another method is to set it on the profile for the command:

 

From a SYSVIEW session enter the command:

PROFILE CREVIEW

 

Select the Miscellaneous Section

 

Set Default Parms to:

Default parameters               INTERVAL 2

 

Enter below command, to force the saving of the change in the profile.

 

PROFILE SAVE
