The Data Aggregator dadaemon service is restarting on it's own.
It is seen happening a few times a day, other times it's seen happening a few days apart.
The ActiveMQ service remains running, only the dadaemon service restarts.
In the (default path) /opt/IMDataAggregator/apache-karaf-<version> directory files named 'hs_err_pid<PID>.log are present. The <PID> represents the Process ID (PID) of the dadaemon service that is restarting. Within the file a message that states the following is seen.
# There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue.
The presence of the hs_err_pid<PID>.log files with the insufficient memory comments are indicative that the dadaemon process ran out of memory at the OS level.
Release : 3.7, 20.2
Component : IM Data Aggregator
Make sure the system is sized properly per the sizing wizard and there is sufficient memory available for the memory the dadaemon and activemq processes are configured for, in addition to any system software that is installed.
Clean up any unneeded items.
