Issue/Introduction

Prediction not given on Jobstream alerts.

Jaws.log shows:

WARN [AutosysPredictionEngine] Prediction for <JobstreamName> at 2020/07/16 06:00:00.000 EDT timed out.  Timeout period is 30

Environment

Release : 5.8.6

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

This can occur if trimming is not setup on a Jobstream or if the trimming is not trimming enough runs. 

Ideally you should use the Auto Trim Options which are enabled by default.

 

This can also be prevented by switching over to an Autosys Next Generation Prediciton Engine scheduler.
