Issue/Introduction

Are there any parameters to control java threads when VSE recording?
The "Connection timeout" occurred during VSE recording,
When VSE recording, data was sent by using a large amount of ports to the Web server, it seemed the specification for Service Virtualization(or Java).
Also it seemed that the communication by using a large amount of ports to the Web server may cause the "Connection timeout" and multi-threading can be used a large amount of ports.

Environment

Release : 10.5

Component : CA Service Virtualization

Resolution

There are not any properties for only VSE recorder in DevTest Workstation or DevTest Portal to control java threads as product components.
However, for DevTest Workstation or DevTest Portal as JVMs, you can add the java arguments which relate the thread controlling in the .vmoptions file for the executable files.

For the batch job style components like Simulator, the restriction for the number of threads only influences the response time.
For the interactive components like Workstation and Portal, it is very hard to expect the behavior after restricting of the number of threads.
