Issue/Introduction

The client wants to know if they can upgrade the LOAD libraries to r14.0, from r12.2, without updating the PANEL libraries and databases, then (in the next phase) upgrade the PANEL libraries and databases.

Release : 14.0

Component : CA View

Resolution

View 14.0 code is compatible with View 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 level databases.

After implementing the 14.0 code, you can then go back at a later time and:

. Do a SARDBASE VERSION 14.0 on the database.
. Run SARDBASE OLOAD, to load the 14.0 panels to the database.

Deliver 14.0 code is compatible with Deliver 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 level databases.

After implementing the 14.0 code, you can then go back at a later time and:

. Do a RMODBASE VERSION 14.0 on the database.
. Run RMODBASE OLOAD, to load the 14.0 panels to the database.
