Docker Service will not start after upgrade OPMS to ASM 10.4

Issue/Introduction

"Docker service getting the following errors:

 

Jul 07 10:27:16 <SERVERNAME> dockerd[121029]: time="2020-07-07T10:27:16.731008551-04:00" level=error msg="Handler for POST /v1.40/images/create returned error: Get https://registry.asm.broadcom.com/v2/: net/http: request canceled while waiting for connection (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)"

Environment

Release : 10.1

Component : CA APP SYNTHETIC MONITOR (WATCHMOUSE)

Cause

The issue is that docker is attempting to download the images directly, instead of connecting through the configured proxy server.

 

 

Resolution

Please follow the documentation to configure proxy for the docker daemon:  

HTTP/HTTPS proxy
