SMGR160E Invalid Source Record Length issued when adding an Element to Endevor

Issue/Introduction

Adding an element into Endevor getting an SMGR160E error.  The element has an LRECL of 500 but the Type definition has a Source Length value of 106 which was updated to 500.
The following error is issued when trying to add an element:
SMGR160E  INVALID SOURCE RECORD LENGTH - 00500 EXCEEDS MAXIMUM RECORD LENGTH FOR TYPE - 00259.

The LRECL of the Image/Delta file is 259.

Will changing the LRECL of the Image and Delta to 500 resolve this issue or will updating these files have a negative impact on existing inventory or shipments?

Create a new delta file with a record length of 500+, copy the old file into the new file and rename.
