Issue/Introduction

It is possible to send SMS message via a notification object. Email must be configured on the Automation Engine for this method to work.

Resolution

1. Create a mail notification object

2. On the notification tab enter the recipient as a phone number. Every carrier has a different SMS gateway domain. For example, ATT&T would look like this <phone number>@txt.att.net. Please check with carrier to find out the SMS gateway domain.
