Issue/Introduction

Client upgraded to z/OS 2.4, and are now intermittently receiving messages:

APK410S: AN ACIF STORAGE REQUEST FAILED                                         
APK408S  A VIRTUAL STORAGE REQUEST WAS UNSUCCESSFUL - REQUEST SIZE 163800,   GETMAIN RETURN CODE 10.    

Restarting the SARFSS started task, without making changes, will normally work.

Would like to have root cause determined.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
View ACIF FSS printer abends with S0C1 or S0C4 after SARACI09 message
indicating that APKACIF has ended with a return code 4.

SYMPTOMS:
APKACIF issues an APKxxxS error message indicating return code 4 during
startup or while process a report and terminates. View issues SARACI09
message indicating APKACIF has terminates but continues to process report
causing an S0C1 or S0C4 abend.
