Roadmap Timeline Report Does Not Return Data

Issue/Introduction

Problem Statement: While running the report Roadmap Timeline under Investment Management for a newly created Roadmap show "No matching records were found" while selecting the mandatory input controls like Roadmap, Fiscal Year, Period.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Login to Clarity and Navigate to modern ux 
2. Navigate to Roadmap in modern ux and ensure you have appropriate rights 
3. Click on New Roadmap to create a new Roadmap Instance and choose the Start Period and Duration 
4. Once the Roadmap Instance is created, Import Roadmap Item using Import from PPM, Import from CSV
5. In this example we are adding roadmap item using Import from PPM using Project Object 
6. Select one or many projects and click on add and you will see a banner "Import in Progress" 
7. Since the roadmap item has been added, now sync the link items by clicking on "Sync Linked Items" and choose the attributes you need to sync
8. As the attributes are syncing you will see a banner "Sync In Progress This scenario is temporarily locked for editing"
9. Now navigate back to Classic PPM and click on Advance Reporting and ensure you have appropriate rights 
10. In the Advance Reporting under View Repository --> Reports --> Investment Management --> Roadmap Timeline Report
11. On the Roadmap Timeline Report choose the Roadmap created in the above steps and choose the mandatory parameters in the report 

Expected Result: The roadmap and the roadmap items created should appear in the report 

Actual Result: "No matching records were found" is displayed.

Cause

Investigation in progress to evaluate this is a defect or not 

Resolution

Workaround:

1. Login to Clarity and Navigate to Modern UX
2. Under Modern ux navigate to Roadmap
3. Click on the Roadmap created 
4. Navigate to Board view and you will see the roadmap items are stacked against None 
5. Move the roadmap item card to either Unapproved, Pending Approval, Approved or completed
6. Resync the Roadmap by clicking on clicking on "Sync Linked Items" and choose the attributes you need to sync
7. Navigate back to Classic Ux and Navigate to Advance Reporting 
8. In the Advance Reporting under View Repository --> Reports --> Investment Management --> Roadmap Timeline Report
9. Choose the report parameters like Roadmap, Fiscal Year, Period and also select Swimlane and click on apply
