When attempting to upgrade a CICS region from CTS 5.2 to CTS 5.5, the CICS region is abending U1800 with message:
12.08.09 STCnnnnn +DFHXS1104 cicsjob 393
393 Default security could not be established for userid xxxxx. The
393 security domain cannot continue, so CICS is terminated. SAF codes are
12.08.09 STCnnnnn +DFHSI1500 cicsjob CICS startup is in progress for CICS Transaction Server Version 5.5.0
393 (X'00000008',X'00000000'). ESM codes are (X'0000001C',X'00000000').
A ticket was opened with IBM and they advised:
The reason code of x'1C' means "The user's access has been revoked". Userid xxxxx needs to be re-instated by your security team.
There is, however, no indication, the user's access was revoked as the region was successfully restarted after reverting back to CICS TS V5.2 from V5.5.
It should be noted the xxxxx userid assigned to this CICS region, and the default userid are the same.
