Issue/Introduction

Setting up MTC-A with TOMCAT and getting the following error messages:

 

2020-07-06 18:53:19.149 ... ERROR ...OpsAuthenticationProvider - authenticate: Unsuccessful response
code received from login request. User = uuuuuuu (##.###.##.###), Code = 423.

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

Need TSS PERMIT(acid) IBMFAC(IRR.DIGTCERT) ACC(CONTROL) if owner of certificate is CERTSITE.
If user using the certificate is the owner, TSS PERMIT(acid) IBMFAC(IRR.DIGTCERT) ACC(READ) is needed.
