Issue/Introduction

Hi,

I found a server with the 12.5 CLI installed and we need to upgrade it to 13.0.3.

This server is Redhat Linux 7. Where can I download this? I see multiple options on the download page, not sure which one to get.

Additionally, does the DFO need re-created from 12.5 to 13.0.3?

Environment

Release : 13.0.3

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Resolution

Most all those options lead to either or both of the same to DVD images:

CA Harvest Software Change Manager V13.0.3 Media (contains Windows, Linux and AIX installation files)
DVDHAV13030E.iso

CA HARVEST SOFTWARE CHANGE MANAGER V13.0.3 MEDIA - SOLARIS, ZLINUX, MAC, Z/OS, HP-UX ITANIUM ARCHITECTURE
DVDHAV99030E.iso

As long as you’re getting DVDHAV13030E.iso, you’ll get the Linux install files.

Your second question about the dfo file, I just tested this out and I think, if the dfo file is in the $CA_SCM_HOME folder, it will be converted with the upgrade, so no need to do anything extra to it. It’s a good idea, if possible, to have the userid and password for that dfo file at hand, just in case, but you will likely not need it.
