Issue/Introduction

Unable to log into Spectrum OneClick WebApp using Firefox.

The following error is seen under the Firefox Menu -> Web Developer -> Web Console

It seems there is a limitation because Same Origin Policy. Translation of the error message: Cross-Origin request has been blocked: Same Origin Policy prohibits to read the external resource http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9443/spectrum/oneclickwebapp/ ... (Reason: CORS request did not succeed).

Environment

Release : 10.4 and 10.4.1

Component : OneClick WebApp

Cause

For this particular issue, the root cause was the SOCKS-Host parameter was populated in the Firefox Menu -> Options -> Network Settings.

Resolution

Remove the SOCKS-Host parameter was populated in the Firefox Menu -> Options -> Network Settings.
