Issue/Introduction

Unable to launch SDM URL

Excerpt from pdm_tomcat.log:

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 1536000KB object heap

 

Environment

Release : 17.1

Component : SERVICE DESK MANAGER

Resolution

Solution is to reset the tomcat memory: 
# Tomcat 
@NX_JAVA_OPTIONS=-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=false -Xms64M -Xmx1500M

# Stop Services.
# Edit the nx value fro Xmx1500M to Xmx1024M
# Start the services. 

There is no rca, as the issue may be related to OS/JVM/Tomcat.
