We'd like to install the Policy Manager 9.3 CR05 on Windows 10. Q1. Does the user need Administrator privileges for running the Policy Manager? Q2. Does the user need Administrator privileges for installing the Policy Manager?
Environment
Release : 9.x
Component : API GATEWAY
Resolution
Windows Administrator privileges aren't necessary for running the Policy Manager. Regarding the installation, Administrator privileges are necessary for installing to the default folder and creating icons in the Start Menu. Standard users can install the Policy Manager to their own folder without registering any icons in the Start Menu.
Additional Information
The Policy Manager is installed under the %ProgramFiles(x86)% folder by default. (Windows 10 64bit editions)
