CA Datacom DDUPDATE job hangs

Issue/Introduction

Running a DDUPDATE job runs for a while then hangs.

 

Environment

Release : 15.1

Component : CA Datacom/AD

Cause

Check the MUF joblog for any error messages.

If the DDUPDATE job is doing lots of updates it could fill the log. In the MUF joblog the following message will be seen:

DB00308I - LOG AREA IS 100% FULL, 1197 TRACKS SPILLABLE 

Resolution

Run a DBUTLTY job with the SPILL function to spill the LXX records to the RXX.
