sdiclinux.exe -h <host file> -p <password file> -test hangs after "starting test"

Issue/Introduction

When using the sdiclinux.exe -h <host file> -p <password file> -test to run a verification test before doing a distributed install, the test hangs and never completes after printing out "starting test".

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

There was a firewall issue between the server running the install and the remote server. Once the firewall issue was resolved the tests completed successfully. 

Resolution

The firewall issue was corrected and the customer was able to run the validation tests successfully.
