Issue/Introduction

Re-parenting a project causes the new project's Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD) to appear to be showing wrong counts.  For example, in the following diagram, the Accepted count is not increasing even though work items have been placed into the Accepted state:

Cause

The CFDs use a normalization routine that displays data relative to data on the chart.  The influx of data into the project causes the normalization routine to depress values and can cause some counts to appear wrong.

Resolution

Since this is working as designed, there is no resolution.  On workaround is to reduce the number of days shown in the chart to cause the data to show in a non-normalized fashion, however ultimately once the window of time has passed the data of the project move, the data will all display as expected again.
