Issue/Introduction

PKGESI=ESI and all PKGxxxx=Y is set in the C1DEFLTS Table; but Package UTILITY security is not being invoked.
If a user selects an individual package and use the '#' Delete Package option, the package is simply deleted.  Reviewed the ESI Trace (EN$TRESI) and not seeing any call in the trace for the delete

Resolution

This was found to be a defect and is resolved by the below PTF. 

PACKAGE UTILITY SECURITY NOT BEING CALLED                                    
                                                                             
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                                         
When implementing Package Security (pkgsec=esi),while deleting a package that
is in-edit, there is no call being made to check if user is authorized       
to perform the action. That means NO ESI and no SMF records are available    
for the above action.                                                        
                                                                             
SYMPTOMS:                                                                    
No ESI and SMF records are available for Package action.                     
                                                                             
IMPACT:                                                                      
There is no call being made to check if user is authorized to perform the    
action.
