Using Spectrum's Modeling Gateway (MGW) to export contents from the Spectrum database, not all Virtual Host models (VMs) are exported. None of the VMs listed under the VHM topology are being exported.

This is functioning as designed (FAD). Because the Virtual Machines under a VHM AIM can be very dynamic. The MGW will only export the ESX(i) level models.
The intention is that once imported into another SpectroSERVER, the SpectroSERVER will poll the virtual technology AIM (MSCS, IBM, Solaris) and populate the current VMs in the correct state.
This is problematic for customers using the -CMDB switch, as there will be no SpectroSERVER to poll the VHM AIM in the CMDB, so be aware of this limitation if you are planning on populating the VMs into a CMDB.
There is no work-around for this.
