Issue/Introduction

During a CTSSYNC for a couple of volsers the following massages are displayed:

REQUEST FAILED RC=004,RS=323,FB=000000000

REQUEST FAILED RC=rc,RS=rsn,FB=nnnnnn

The request (SCRATCH, PRIVATE, PROTECT, SYNC) failed with a return code of rc; and reason code of rsn. The return code and reason code combinations are in the LCS External Services Parameter List (LCSPL), mapped by IBM macro CBRLCSPL. This macro can be found in SYS1.MACLIB. For more information, see the IBM document "Return and reason codes for CBRXLCS change use attribute"

Verifying the SYS1.MACLIB(CBRLCSPL) –  the RS=323 means: unable to retrieve policy names(s) from library.

IBM should be contacted and check with them.
