Issue/Introduction

Multiple entries for same target, mostly with FQDN.

Environment

UIM 8.5 & Later

CDM 6.42

Resolution

Follow the below step:-

 Please right click on CDM probe--> Configuration & Check the below setting.

Send short name for QoS source:

allows you to send only the host name as the source in QoS messages. If not selected, sends the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name).
 
Warning:-

 If the Set QoS source to robot name option is selected in the controller, robot name is used as target.
 
Allow QoS source as target: 
======================
allows you to use the QoS source as the target name. QoS messages can use the host name as their target, by default. If selected, the target name is changed to the QoS source name.
