Issue/Introduction

Using Datacom/AD and running DDUPDATE 1000 CATALOG or DDCFBLD -CXX CATALOG functions fails with  message:

**** ERROR ****  RETURN CODE = DDPUNA0001  USER NOT AUTHORIZED

Resolution

The error occurs because for CA Datacom/AD the DDUPDATE or DDCFBLD CATALOG functions cannot be used to catalog an AD database to the CXX.
You must use the DDRTVCAT utility instead.
Only certain changes are allowed to the AD database structure and DDRTVCAT validates that only allowed changes were made.
