Issue/Introduction

After installing Sysview for DB2 (IDB2) r20 without other CA Db2 Performance Management tools (including PSA), the IDB2 DC shows the error message: 'DBG91003E Abend Occurred in XMANAGER processing'.  How can this error message be avoided?

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : CA Insight Database Performance Monitor for DB for z/OS

Cause

IFCIDs 1036,1038,1039  stated in the DC's Hist-Stats-Recs sysparm, and without having PSA (CA Subsystem Analyzer) installed is the cause of the error message  'DBG91003E Abend Occurred in XMANAGER processing'.  These IFCIDs (as stated in the Sysview for DB2 documentation) make a call to CA Subsystem Analyzer (PSA).

Resolution

Removing  IFCIDs 1036,1038,1039 from the IDB2 DC's  Hist-Stats-Recs Sysparms, and then bouncing the DC resolved the 'DBG91003E Abend Occurred in XMANAGER processing' message(s).
