NetOps Spectrum Report Manager does not include virtual interfaces

Issue/Introduction

When running Asset Reports for devices, only the physical ports are included, while the virtual ports are not.

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

This is functioning as designed.  Spectrum does not import all virtual interfaces as this would cause major performance issues with the reporting capabilities and would cause major delays when running reports.

Resolution

This is tentatively scheduled to be fixed in a future release of Spectrum due out Q4 of 2020 by Enhancement US678953.  A new table will be created that will allow users to specify the virtual interface types to be added to the table to be pulled via mysql queries.
