Error getting response code for Endevor Web Service healthcheck.

Issue/Introduction

 

V18.1 webservices health check page https://host:port/EndevorService/ is giving the following message -

 

[WARN] Your apiml.properties file may contain an invalid endevorBaseURL.  

Health check complete. Endevor Web Services has errors:
Error constructing URL for healthcheck.
java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol:

Resolution

Apply SO13849

This PTF contains more than the fix for health check, It also contains an unpublished feature which adds some new fields in the installation properties file, and changes the installation script. 

Back up installation properties before applying this PTF.

After applying this PTF, when APIML is not enabled, the health check in browser will be done with this logic:
- taking the URL from browser address bar
- adding 'rest' after that
- send request with this URL to endevor, hoping for a list of configurations
