Issue/Introduction

After installation of the Peoplesoft plugin on the System Agent, following error message is found back in the peoplesoft log under the system agent log directory:

"ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor" 

Environment

Release : 11.3

Component : CA Workload Automation System Agent

Resolution

Modify following parameter in the agentparm.txt file

ps.db.url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@:<hostname>:<port>:<dbname>

to  

ps.db.url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@://<hostname>:<port>/<dbname>
