JCLCheck - TWS interface across multiple LPARS - CAY6A019E RESOLUTION PROCESSOR ERROR - EQQX111E xxxx is not an active subsystem

Issue/Introduction

IBM Workload Scheduler (formerly called IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler and commonly known as TWS) is running in production.

When JCLCheck is running on another LPAR against the resolved TWS variables on production, the following messages are issued.

CAY6A019E RESOLUTION PROCESSOR ERROR; FUNCTION=INIT, RC=0008, MESG=ERROR ON 'INIT xxxx ' REQUEST,TWS RC=0000008                     
EQQX111E xxxx is not an active subsystem     

where xxxx is the TWS system name.

Resolution

You will need to have JCLCheck licensed and running on the LPAR where TWS is running to resolve the TWS variables.
