Issue/Introduction

cisco_ucs profile "Verify Selection" fails with the error below:

"Verify Selection" fails with userid and domain\userid in the Username field.

Cause

This issue is sometimes seen when the user id in the cisco_ucs profile is not entered with the correct format

Resolution

Make sure the correct LDAP label syntax is configured in the cisco_ucs profile -> Username field.

Example: ucs-<LDAP Label>\<username>
