TDM Portal Data Painter Intermittent Field Validation Error: unable to get property 'data'

Issue/Introduction

TDM Data Painter Intermittent Field Validation Error: unable to get property 'data' of undefined or null reference. 

If field is re-validated no error occurs.  Error occurred after applying patch v4.9.35.

Component : CA Test Data Manager - TDM Web Portal

Cause

Product defect.

Resolution

The cause was related to a change made in Portal related to parallel validation of expressions.

It appears this odd behavior is specifically related to IE and Microsoft Edge browsers, and not seen in Chrome, Firefox, and the other browsers tested.

Open a support case for patch TDMWeb-4.9.64.0 or later for TDM Portal 4.9.
