Filetransfer with MVS agent terminates with U02000064

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to perform a file transfer via JOBF and utilizing a codepage, the transfer fails with:

U02000064 Connecting process to Agent 'NAME' abnormally terminated after '20' seconds.
U02000006 Connection to Agent 'NAME(8,ID=146)' was successfully established.
U01002409 Message size is exceeded '131906' > '2454', module 'FTXSEND.FTXSNDRCV.dst_code'.

The issue does not occur all the time, but some of the time.

Cause

This is caused by a defect on the MVS agent.

Do not use a codepage during the transfer

This has been fixed with the release of 12.3.5 for the MVS agent
