Upgrade CA Harvest 12.5 to 13.0.4 - database validation and upgrade question

Issue/Introduction

When upgrade from harvest 12.5 to 13.0.4, what is the functionality of the CHECKFORCUSTOMFORMSSQLSERVER.bat procedure in the database upgrade process?

Environment

Release : 12.5 / 13.0.x

Component : CA Harvest Software Change Manager

Resolution

Harvest V13 release can't connect to lower version of Database , so the database needs to be upgraded to V13 level  using hdbsetup utility.

Output of "CheckForCustomFormsSqlServer.bat" program shows the database is healthy to be upgraded to V13 version.

The script was intended to be run with your previous version of the SCM Server software before upgrading the software or the database. This must be done before running hdbsetup to upgrade the database.
